With a Land Rover Defender there will be no where Heroes cannot be to defend our service men and women against the effects of trauma.
The Defender and $25,000 will:
1. Improve access to resources in rural Washington, Idaho and surrounding regions by completing the Victory Center to offer extension services from community partners and the Vet Center.
2. Create provision for disabled veterans and their families through Heroes Market, online storefront for Veteran-crafted goods to transform hobbies into provisions for the Hero.
3. Expand resources, relief supplies and outreach based on towing capacities (ie. Heroes Silkies Walk and Resource Fair in Downtown), expanding to more communities confidently.
4. Improve participant experience with hospitality and care for outdoor recreation through Heroes Date Nights and Heroes Family Camp.
5. Ensures relief, aid and rescue as Heroes can transport through hard and difficult terrain, snow, sleet, and high winds and flood zones.
6. Ability to transport a family in crisis, removing hurdles in care, while minimizing limitations of capacity, terrain, or other hurdles in care.
Communicates dependabilty throughout the community.
